BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL WITH CHIA PUDDING

Its berry season!!! The sweetest and most delicious blueberries :) When we look back,  just a little over 10 years back, fresh blueberries were hard to get by back then. And fast forward to today - berries are available all year round. And not just that, you get them in dried forms at the souks, and very conveniently in the frozen aisle. So the choices are plenty when berry season is over, and once can continue to enjoy their deliciousness. We love this recipe inspired by the @minimalistbaker smoothie bowl.

For the smoothie

1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1 frozen banana 

1 pitted date 

1/2 cup plant based milk or dairy milk

Blend everything until smooth. Adjust ingredients as per your liking for consistency.

 

For the chia pudding

1/4 cup chia seeds

1 cup plant based milk or dairy

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp maple syrup

 

Toppings

@heartigrub granola

Blueberries

Sesame seeds

Pumpkin seeds

 

Combine ingredients and let sit for at least 5 hours or overnight.

Top off with our crunchy granola, blueberries, sesame and pumpkin seeds.
